Using home-grown indigenous approaches, JIID supports platforms that enhance civic engagements. The organization is at the forefront of efforts aimed at bridging the gap between government and those they govern. Using demonstrated methods of community engagement to bring government and development closer to the people. JIID works to breakdown the tenets of democracy and governance polices to the people through digitization, simplification, translation and localization of key governance instruments. Enhancing comprehension among diverse group of people.  JIID provides spaces and forums for other civic engagement and education using trusted methods of value re-orientation and public education
